Omnitron Systems designs and manufactures fiber media converters for Ethernet, Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), Serial, and TDM protocols, as well as Ethernet and PoE switches, demarcation devices and WDM and TDM multiplexers that are deployed in thousands of networks worldwide.
Omnitron’s network connectivity products can integrate various cabling types, extend network distances, inject PoE / PoE+ / PoE++ and expand fiber capacity. Omnitron’s carrier grade products support 10/100/1000 Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, T1/T3, OC3/OC12 and serial technologies.
Omnitron's new Single Pair Power over Ethernet (SPoE) converters and splitters enable the delivery and data and power up to 1,000 meters over SPE cabling, feature PoE PD ports and PoE PSE ports.
Omnitron's Multi-Gigabit PoE switches and media converter support IEEE 802.3b t(PoE++) up to 100W per port and can deliver 10/100/1G/2.5G/5G/10G speeds.
